Coastal Oral Surgery
A brand elevation that proved you don't need a new logo to look like a completely different practice.
A logo is a starting point, not a brand. This project is what happens when you build everything around it with intention. Coastal Oral Surgery didn't need a new identity. They had a logo they were proud of and a practice they'd worked hard to build. What they needed was everything around it — the suite of materials that takes a mark on a letterhead and turns it into a brand a patient actually remembers. This project is one I return to when people ask what good design actually does for a healthcare practice. The answer, demonstrated clearly here, is that it builds trust at every single touchpoint, before a procedure, during a visit, and long after a patient goes home.

The approach was elevation, not reinvention. Starting with a thorough audit of every existing patient-facing material, I identified where the brand had gaps where the experience felt inconsistent, where the collateral didn't match the quality of care being delivered inside the office.
From there, the work expanded outward. Patient collateral was redesigned with the same care and clarity you'd want in any communication about someone's health. Event materials were developed for the practice's growing community presence. Social media creative was standardized into a cohesive visual system that finally made Coastal's feeds look as polished as their offices.
What emerged was a practice that looked, in every sense, like it had arrived. The logo was the same. Everything else was different in the best way.
